MIHS won the overall championship again in Alappuzha District School Science fair held at Cherthala on 1st of December 2011. MIHS won the championship with 29 points , 7 points clearly ahead of Runners up DBHSS Thakazhi. MIHS won first place in Working Model and second place in science drama with A grade. In improvised experiment category MIHS got A grade . In still model and Research type project MIHS got B grade.
